East Coast Women’s Surf Clinic, Photo Meet Up & Beach Clean Up
My dear friend Abbie Bowles is the original master mind behind Lady Daze and continues to carry the torch, collaborating with fellow female surfers for causes that are dear to her heart. No single Lady Daze has been the same, but all have been centered around bring female surfers together, supporting each other, and cultivating a surf culture that cares for our oceans.
After attending my first Lady Daze at Abby’s home break in Ponce Inlet, Florida, I knew I wanted to reach out about hosting a Lady Daze at my home break in St. Augustine, Florida as a give-back project to the surf & photography communities that has given me so much.
Together, Abby Bowles, Memory Camero, Victoria Moronta, and so many others helped us pull together the 2019 St. Augustine Lady Daze. We reached out to our favorite brands and local businesses to gather giveaways, invited photographers to participate in a blissful morning of content creation, invited female surf instructors to lead a surf clinic for both beginner and intermediate surfers, and supplied the materials needed for a clean up to leave the beach better than we found it.
