My partner, Cole Hardwick, and I relocated from Florida to Nevada in 2022 to work for Patagonia. Below are some projects I’ve worked on for Patagonia and Groundswell Community Project via Patagonia Action Works.
About the org: Founded by Yvon Chouinard in 1973, Patagonia is an outdoor apparel company and certified B Corp. Patagonia’s mission is to save our home planet.
Objective: Provide Patagonia’s wholesale dealers with photorealistic product images during Pre-season selling before eCommerce images are available.
Impact: I was able to produce 80-90% of the upcoming product lines (~2,000 images per season) in 3-4 months by photoshopping existing product images to reflect the colors and patterns of the upcoming buying season. This project is in its third season and sales reps are seeing a positive impact.
Process: I created and refined standard operating procedures for the project over the course of three seasons by self managing customized spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel, developing an asset management protocol in the server, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.
About the Org: Groundswell Community Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that offers surf therapy for self-identifying women overcoming various forms of trauma and its mental health effects. Programs are facilitated by licensed trauma-informed therapists, and supported by surf coaches and volunteers certified in their Groundswell Surf Therapy training model. This model uses research-driven practices to uphold the highest levels of psychological and physical safety as they use the wisdom of the body and connection to the earth to guide participants on their healing journey.
Objective: To obtain the trademark for therapy model. To do so, consistency is required across all eight Groundswell Surf Therapy Certification Stamps. I was tasked with creating new design files based on the provided jpgs.
Impact: This saved the organization money for Surf Therapy Scholarships.
Process: Carefully studied GCP’s brand guide and the provided jpgs to recreate certification stamps as vector files and provided an editable Canva template with guidelines for the creation of future certification stamps in an effort to save funds on this task in the future.

Objective: Design a sign up page on groundswellcommunity.org for GCP’s Jamaica Retreat (not pictured) and create a PDF Sponsor Packet for GCP to include in email outreach (pictured).
Impact: This saved the organization money for Surf Therapy Scholarships.
Process: Carefully studied GCP’s brand guide and competing retreat websites to design an informative and compelling sign up page. Created the sponsor packet as an interactive PDF with a clickable call to action to remove roadblocks from the donation process.
